WELCOME

Welcome to my professional space! I am Aarya Diwan, a mechanical engineering student with a specialization in robotics and control from Columbia Engineering. My journey began with a B.Sc. Honors in Physics at St. Stephen's College, where I was ranked 2nd my batch and a recipient of prestigious scholarships for academic and extracurricular excellence.

My passion lies in the innovative intersection of design, control, and automation in robotics and engineering. From spearheading the end-to-end development of a bio-inspired bipedal robot at Columbia University, engaging in experiments in rehabilitative robotics involving whole-body postural control for patients with cerebral palsy and spinal chord injuries, to developing performance tests and optimizing swarm movement strategies for a 6 DOF magnetically levitating platform as a Mechatronics & Controls Intern at ASML, I am committed to leveraging my technical expertise for impactful solutions.

My projects, like the creation of an electronic voting machine or the development of a proximity-sensing device for the visually impaired, reflect a dedication to innovation and community service. Recognized for my leadership and academic prowess, I bring a proven track record of success and a passion for mechanical engineering to the table.

I invite you to explore my portfolio, where each project and achievement is a step towards realizing my goal: to innovate in the field of robotics and contribute to a sustainable future.

Let’s engineer tomorrow, together.
