Absorption Spectrum Analysis of Carbocyanine Dyes

Utilizing Python as the primary computational tool, I undertook a detailed study to investigate the primary absorption spectrum of carbocyanine dyes. This was achieved by modeling the quantum scale potential bands of the initial four carbocyanine dye molecules utilizing the fourier series to gain insights into electron transition energies, providing valuable predictions related to their absorption spectrum.
