I am co-authoring an academic paper addressing resonance scattering within quantum mechanics. Central to our research was a Python-based program that adeptly used the Transfer Matrix Approach. Notably, this method demonstrated computational efficiency, reducing time by approximately 30% compared to prevailing algorithms. Further, we harnessed Fermi-Dirac statistics to simulate electron behavior, deriving results related to current under varied voltage conditions in semiconductors.
